A man came to the service of the Prophet Maqbool (SAWWS), and asked for his help regarding neighbor.
He complained and said that my neighbor bothers me so much that it makes my life miserable.
"The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Be patient and do not quarrel with your neighbor. Don't get up, but make some changes in your behavior."
A few days later, that person came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He came again and complained about his neighbor. This time too, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:He said, "Be patient..!"
After a few days, the man came to the Messenger of Allah for the third time and said, "O Messenger of Allah, this neighbor of mine does not stop his evil deeds and, as before, he is harassing me and my family, my family is very worried."
This time the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to him,
"The day of Friday has come, so go and prepare your house."
Take out all the stuff and put it on the road where people can see it.Seeing your belongings lying on the road, people will ask you if you why have you taken all the belongings out of the house?
When people ask such questions, tell them that I am very worried about my neighbor's immorality, and that is how you can protect yourself.
Bring the complaint to the ears of the public.
The complainant, following the instructions of the beloved Prophet, did exactly as he was told. He did not know that when the question of repelling oppression and defending rights arose, If this happens, then in the eyes of Islam there is no respect left for the transgressor.
Therefore, as soon as he did it, It was reported to the bad neighbor, knowing that his neighbor, took the matter to the public, he became very frightened and began to beg the man for the forgiveness.
Not only that, but he also promised to not bother his neighbor in the future and will he not have the opportunity to complain like this again?
