The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said regarding the people of Yemen:
«أَتَاكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ، هُمْ أَرَقُّ أَفْئِدَةً وَأَلْيَنُ قُلُوبًا، الإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَالْحِكْمَةُ يَمَانِيَةٌ»
"The people of Yemen have come to you; they possess gentler sensibilities and softer hearts. Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni."

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) also prayed for Yemen:
«اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي يَمَنِنَا»
"O Allah! Bless our Yemen for us."
📚 Sahih al-Bukhari: 7094
Regarding the people of Yemen, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) further stated:
«إِنِّي لَبِعُقْرِ حَوْضِي أَذُودُ النَّاسَ لِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ»
"Indeed, I shall be at the rim of my Basin (al-Kawthar), pushing people back to make way for the people of Yemen."
📚 Sahih Muslim: 2301
This stands as the Prophet's testimony regarding Yemen:
Faith is Yemeni, wisdom is Yemeni, their hearts are tender, and Yemen was blessed through the supplication of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
In contrast, when certain companions requested the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to pray for Najd, he replied:
«هُنَاكَ الزَّلَازِلُ وَالْفِتَنُ، وَبِهَا يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ»
"There will occur earthquakes and tribulations, and from there the horn of Satan will emerge."
