Failure from a New Perspective

First Point: Don’t Always Think of Success
If you fail to achieve something in life, or something slips out of your hands, or you find yourself caught in a problem...
Then don’t immediately say:
“How unfortunate I am...”
“I am so unlucky...”
“Maybe God doesn’t want me…”
Second Point: Get Out of Negative Thinking
Instead of repeating such thoughts in difficult times, repeat Verse 216 of Surah Al-Baqarah in your heart, again and again:
"And it may be that you dislike a thing and it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing and it is bad for you."
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:216)
Translation:
You may dislike something, and it may be good for you;
You may love something, and it may be harmful for you.
Third Point: The Quran’s New Perspective on Success and Failure
If you read, understand, and truly feel this verse from your heart —
You will begin to see wisdom, goodness, and gentleness in every “failure”.
Failure will no longer break you — it will shape and refine you.
Fourth Point: Success Does Not Mean Just “Achieving”
Real happiness does not mean getting everything we desire.
True success is being content with the decision of the One
whom we call “Lord” — the One who knows what’s best for us, even more than we do.
Fifth Point: The Destination of Trust
وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
“And Allah knows, while you do not know.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:216 - ending)
This verse teaches us that there is always wisdom behind every event.
We are not meant to trust the results —
We are meant to trust Allah, the source of those results.
Summary:
Defeat, failure, or being deprived of something — none of these are "the end."
They may actually be signs of a better beginning.
Just align your heart with the Quran, and be at peace with Allah’s will —
Because He knows what you do not.
